A Web-app designed to guide expats relocating to to Berlin - before, during and after their arrival into the city.
User is presented with a personalised track of their "To-do list" that helps them integrate into Berlin, based on their Nationality and Visa status.
Entire Web-app prototype is illustrated and gamified for enhanced user experience.
The idea of "Newcomer" bloomed after multiple conversations with immigrants and expats in Berlin who were puzzled about the German Bureaucracy and opportunities in the city. The case-study was a part of the curriculum required to obtain the Digital Shaper Certificate in a UX boot-camp conducted by TechLabs, Berlin.
I was a part of a multi-disciplinary boot-camp team and that had both UI/UX designers and web-developers. The project was a "proof of concept" prototype and was received very well in the TechLabs community. We are currently working on a making the prototype responsive across multiple platforms.

This project was undoubtedly a hands-on experience to use/ learn the state-of-the-art UI/UX prototyping and testing tools. Though a basic narrative is showcased here, I followed a lean methodology during the design process to ensure that the task of "responsible decision making" could be made as easy as possible to the users.
I was involved in the entire design process, right from generating the required data by formulating the user survey, designing the persona template, generating the customer journey maps, wireframing and designing, animation and user testing. Additionally, I created a game prototype using Axure.
